The Biggest Fashion Collaborations Of 2021 That Broke The Internet And Some Wallets Too!

Mirroring the ever-moving society, the world of fashion photographs the reality and decorates it with colours and some finest stitches. With a million brands keeping up with the drill of reinvention, the ‘X’ today is not just living through factors but is an element that binds two ideologies together. Yes, you got me right, I am here talking about collaborations. A union of two viewpoints to generate an all-new fresh one. Though many years in the recent past have been a witness of this temporary brand marriage, 2021 escalated to some bigger names jumping on the bandwagon. And as we wrap up the much-adventurous year of 2021 in like eleven days, let’s have a look at some of the best fashion collaborations that made it to this year.

Sabyasachi X H&M

The coming together of two distinct flavours from the fashion market, this collaboration was a successful approach to democratise the designer’s vision. The one-of-a-kind collaboration served its shoppers with Sabyasachi’s trademark designs meeting the T-shirts. Supporting H&M’s vision of selling a saree, the collection included close to 70 products that were soon sold out in a blink of an eye, courtesy of the strong social media campaign and the sheer thrill of buying a Sabyasachi at a reasonably easy price.

Fendi X Skims

Bringing together the luxury of Fendi with the innovation of Skims (Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand), the co-designed capsule collection stretched from lingerie to accessories. Offering a mix of some under-tone and vibrant shades, Kim herself was the face of the collection. The union turned out to be fruitful for both the brands with a sale worth $1million in a minute, which led them to restock for their second and final instalment.
