1. Hailey Bieber In Dupatta
Hailey Bieber came to the Met Gala 2026 wearing a two-tone outfit designed by Anthony Vaccarello. In a chat with Vogue, the model said that her look paid homage to the signature Yves Saint Laurent blue, which was the colour of her dress’ skirt and accompanying scarf. The internet thinks that this scraf looks like the dupatta Indians wear over their outfits and started comparing her look to a lehenga! Check it out.
2. Doechii In Payal
For the Met evening, Doechii stepped in a wine-coloured custom March Jacobs outfit made of twisted and draped fabrics. The were flowing on her body with skinny swathes of heart material under frame. Her coming barefoot to such a big event was the talk of the town. Amid this, we also spotted an ornate, anklet-like (Payal-inspired) embellishments on her feet! How cool is that?

3. SZA In Saree Pieces
SZA came in looking colourful in a custom outfit by Emily Adams Bode Aujla. And during her chat on the red carpet, she said that her look was made by 100 yards of material bought from eBay. During this, she also showed that the borders of her corset was made from reworked sarees also purchased from eBay. SZA, who visits India very often, stunned everyone with this revelation.
