The Federation of Western India Cine Employees has issued a statement regarding the controversy surrounding Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. According to their official statement, a non-cooperative notice has been issued for Ranveer after his sudden exit from Don 3. What does this mean? As per the notice, there is a ban on any project collaboration with Ranveer Singh, as per a Times of India report. This decision was announced on Monday.
The FWICE has criticised the practice of actors leaving projects just before filming begins. The FWICE Chief Advisor, Ashoke Pandit, also said that the association would reach the conclusions only after an internal meeting conducted after a thorough investigation of the matter.
Farhan Akhtar’s Compensation Demand
The matters have escalated between Farhan Akhtar and Ranveer Singh after the latter’s exit from Don 3. As per a Variety India report, Farhan Akhtar’s production house Excel Entertainment has sought compensation of Rs 40 crore from Ranveer Singh. The report further suggests that the company has also begun downsizing after this major setback that came from Ranveer Singh’s exit. However, on the other hand, Singh has challenged the compensation claim and has said that he was not accountable to pay any kind of compensation.
