Following which, JYP Entertainment gave a short response to media outlet Sports Kyunghyang. They said, “We have no comment regarding the matter.” Many fans felt this reply was too cold and careless. They expected the company to handle the situation with more care or at least show respect for the fans who had supported the group for years.

The buzz started after a popular online thread pointed out several matching details in their lives. Fans noticed Yoo Ji Yoo’s dog appearing in photos and videos that matched the inside of the K-pop idol’s car and studio. They also spotted the same keyring in both their posts. Dowoon had once shown it in a vlog and said it was a gift from a friend.
