‘Sex And The City’ Actor Chris Noth Accused Of Sexual Assault By Two Women, Yet Again!
Sex and the City (SATC) actor Chris Noth has been accused of sexually assaulting two women. The news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter (THR) and the organisation withheld the identities of the women and permitted them to use pseudonyms in a bit to protect their privacy. As per the report, the two women, Zoe (40) and Lily (31) were sexually assaulted by Chris Noth in separate encounters that took place in Los Angeles in 2004 and in New York in 2015. The women further alleged that the reboot of Sex and the City series as well And Just Like That has triggered painful memories of the incidents.
Lily, who happens to be a journalist, reached out to THR in August and had shared all the details of the incident with the media outlet. The journalist was 25 at the time of the sexual assault. Zoe, who still works in the entertainment industry and is fearful of what will happen if her identity is revealed, contacted the media organisation in October and alleged that she was 22 at the time she was raped by actor Chris Noth. She further said that seeing the actor reprising his character in SATC ‘set off something’ in her while adding that she ‘buried it’ for many years but finally decided to ‘try to go public with who he is’.

On the other hand, actor Chris Noth AKA Mr Big has categorically denied the accusations while adding that the encounters were consensual. In a statement to the Reporter, the actor said, “The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”

This is not the first time that the SATC actor has been accused of sexual assault and abuse. Chris Noth had dated model Beverly Johnson from 1990 to 1995 and then parted way. Later on, in 2009 Beverly filed an abuse lawsuit against Chris Noth. She had accused the SATC actor of beating her, giving her death threats and threatening to disfigure her dog but no charges were filed against Noth at the time.
