After Sanjay Dutt, Tamannaah Bhatia Summoned For Questioning In The Illegal IPL Streaming Case: Reports

There are new names from the industry that have popped up in the illegal IPL streaming case. As per the latest developments in the case, actress Tamannaah Bhatia has been summoned by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell for questioning. Sanjay Dutt was also supposed to appear for his statement, but he has now applied for fresh dates to do the same.

Tamannaah Bhatia Summoned For Questioning
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has been summoned for questioning by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell in the illegal streaming of IPL matches on the Mahadev online game application case. In the latest updates, the actress has been called for questioning for allegedly promoting a subsidiary application of the Mahadev online gaming and betting application. This was the application where IPL 2023 matches were illegally streamed and as per reports, Viacom had to incur huge financial losses due to this.

The actress has been asked to appear before the Maharastra Cyber on April 29, Monday. as per reports.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has also been summoned for questioning, however, the actor failed to appear before the Cyber department on April 23. Tuesday as he was not in India. As per the news report, the actor has requested a fresh date to record his statement in the illegal IPL streaming case.

Previously, Indian rapper Badshah and actress Jacqueline Fernandez were also called in for questioning by the Maharashtra Cyder department in 2023.

The Mahadev online gaming and betting app has been under the radar of many departments. It is also being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate and many actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were also questioned in the scam.
