IMDB Releases List Of 10 Most Anticipated Indian Films Of 2022, Kangana’s ‘Dhaakad’, Alia’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ On It
If you’re a film and TV buff like me, this is a golden time to be alive. There are superhero film events like Spider-Man: No Way Home happening, Indian movies are scaling and how with titles like Brahmāstra and RRR, and OTT is brimming with fantastic shows like Succession, Hawkeye, Aranyak, The Wheel Of Time, Aarya 2, Only Murders In The Building and more, and there’s no dearth of good content. With movie theatres reopened all over the country, the Indian film industry is back with a vengeance. 2022 has a massively ambitious slate, and IMDB has dropped a list of the most anticipated Indian films of 2022. Amongst the titles, Dhaakad starring Kangana Ranaut, Gangubai Kathiawadi, starring Alia Bhatt, KGF 2 with Yash and of course Brahmāstra featuring a heavyweight cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and more, have made the list.

It’s interesting to note that Alia Bhatt stars in three of the ten films. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to premiere at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival. She is also in Brahmāstra alongside beau Ranbir Kapoor, which dropped its motion poster yesterday and is the first of Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious Astraverse trilogy. And with SS Rajamouli’s RRR, in which she plays Sita, Alia makes her Telugu film debut. It’s an interesting year for the Raazi actor and we cannot wait to watch!

Also on the list is Kangana Ranaut headlined Dhaakad. The film’s first look had indicated that Kangana will be playing a Lara Croft-like character who is a machine gun slinging badass, and her look had received lots of praise from people. No wonder it is an anticipated release.
And as a Prabhas fan, I will be watching Radhe Shyam too!
I am personally also waiting for Laal Singh Chaddha, because with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan on board, you can expect a good film. Although I am not essentially a fan of remakes, and this one is a remake of a classic like Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks), I am eager to see what they’ve cooked up.
