Reflecting on the incident, Lara recalled how someone in the crowded venue pinched her waist while she was dressed in a saree for the first time as an actress. The unexpected action startled her, prompting an immediate response driven by her instincts, likely influenced by her prior military training. Akshay stepped in, physically removing the man from the scene and expressing concern for Lara’s well-being. In the aftermath of the incident, amidst the commotion, Akshay playfully admonished Lara, reminding her of the responsibilities that come with being an actress and cautioning against taking matters into her own hands in such situations. She had said, “Akshay kumar ji ghabra gye, unhone mujhe physically uss admi k upar se uthaya ar nikala. Bola tum aise kya kar rhi ho actress ban gyi ho, aise nhi kar skti ho.”
