Reddit Women Just Wrote Their Own Girl Code And It Speaks Volumes About Sisterhood

Growing up, I always had more male friends than I had female friends. But when I entered junior college, things changed drastically. I had a whole girl gang and trust me when I say, I did not see it coming. And since then, I’ve had a couple of female friends that have been my survival kit for any and everything. It was after being friends with them that I realised how important it is to have a girl gang that can literally set the world on fire for you. And I’m blessed to have my own girl gang. But along with that kind of sisterhood comes a set of certain girl codes that are universal in nature. I mean, these are codes that every girl follows irrespective of where they are. In fact, some of the women on Reddit recently shared their own girl code and it speaks volumes about sisterhood.

No matter where you are from, what race you belong to, what language you speak, etc. if you are a woman you know about the girl code. What is a girl code? Well, it is nothing more than a sisterhood that women share and its tenet is simple: no matter what we’re in this together.

We women may not flaunt our sisterhood the way men flaunt their brotherhood, but let me tell you this – it exists and it is stronger than you think. I think one of the best things about having a girl code is the feeling that you have someone by your side through it all.
