Check Out This List Of Shampoos By Indian Brands For Your Particular Hair Type

Now, this may be a first world problem to you guys, which it is, but I’ve used quite a bit of shampoos in my quest for the type of pretty and healthy hair you see in the hair care commercials. Assuming that most of you have the same struggles with finding a shampoo that works for you, I’ve compiled a list of shampoos that work for each hair type to make sure your locks are kept in good shape:

1. Dry Hair – The Skin Story’s Keratin & Biotin Shampoo

As someone with dry hair, I genuinely loved this shampoo. The consistency is thick but comfortable to apply. It doesn’t dry my hair out and paired with the conditioner, makes for silky, soft hair which will last you 5 days on average. It leaves the scalp squeaky clean while nourishing your hair.

2. Dandruff Prone – Plum’s Tea Tree Dandruff Control Shampoo

I have already reviewed this range but I’ll write a mini-review of the shampoo. The shampoo has no colour or fragrance which is perfect if you have a sensitive scalp. It will leave your scalp feeling fresh and cleansed while causing minimal damage to your hair.

3. Oily Hair – Earth Rhythm’s Shampoo Bar With Shikakai, Reeta, Amla & Curry Leaf

Earth Rhythm is definitely one of my favourite Indian beauty brands. Their products go a long way and use natural products with no added perfumes. This bar shampoo might seem complicated to use but honestly? It’s very convenient and will last you a while. Plus they have amazing discounts most of the time so you can easily check out their other products without breaking the bank.

4. Sensitive Scalp – Khadi’s Ayurvedic Amla And Bhringraj Hair Cleanser

This was the first shampoo I invested in when I was checking out Indian hair care brands to use and this didn’t disappoint. The shampoo is gentle on your hair and will help with stuff like hair fall and scalp irritation too. However it does have a very typical Indian herby smell which I enjoy, but they might not.

5. Chemically Treated Hair – The Switch Fix’s The Grape Escape Shampoo Bar

This is another shampoo bar. It smells amazing and lathers amazingly. It might potentially dry your hair which can be rectified by their hair oils and conditioners. It is gentle on the hair and smells amazing. It also lathers beautifully if you are someone who prefers that.

6. All Hair Types – Nourish Mantra’s Himalayan Cedar Biotin Shampoo

If you have normal hair and no specific hair concerns, firstly, I’m jealous of you. But, I also have a shampoo for you. This one will work on every hair type beautifully. It doesn’t dry out your hair and will still cleanse and nourish your hair beautifully.

So here is a compilation of shampoos by Indian brands if you are unsure where to start to care for YOUR hair type. Most of these shampoos are paraben and fragrance-free which will cause minimal irritation and damage to your lovely locks.
