According to a report by National Herald, during the questioning, the accused had tested the firearms near Mumbai before carrying out the attack. During this alleged test, one of them fired two rounds while another fired one round to check if their firearms were working properly. Investigators are now trying to identify the location to verify these claims. Another major detail that came out was an allegedly accidental discharge inside the hotel room. The police sources said that a firearm might have gone off when the accused were testing it and might have caused a bullet to strike the bed. This incident reportedly did not get caught by the hotel employees or anyone outside the room.
Apart from this, the Mumbai police have arrested two more suspects, bringing the total number of arrests to 10. The two accused have reportedly helped supply weapons used in the attack. As per the reports, the police have planned to produce the accused in front of a court in Haryana and ask for a transit remand to bring them to Mumbai for questioning. On October 18, unidentified assailants opened fire on Tiger’s vehicle near Pushpa Narsee Park in Juhu. The actor escaped without being shot, but his driver and another person were injured. The Mumbai Crime Branch is still investigating the suspected conspiracy, weapon supply, and reason behind the attack.
