Yashasvi Jaiswal’s Response To Being Called Older Than Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Is Truly Iconic

The reason why people love the Indian cricketer is because they are not only good on the field but have amazing personalities off the ground as well. It’s the quirky moments from their interviews that have made them a fan favorite. Talking about the same, a funny moment happened between Rajasthan Royals’ teammates Yashasvi Jaiswal and the 15-year-old player Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, where the former was referred to as the “older partner.” Know how he responded.

Yashasvi Jaiswal Responds To Being Called The “Older Partner”

After the Rajasthan Royals defeated the Punjab Kings during the April 28th IPL match, Yashasvi Jaiswal had a chat with a broadcaster. During the same the 24-year-old was asked how it was being the older partner. To this, he laughed and stated that he didn’t think he was that old, adding that he was still very young. However, having said this, Yashasvi stated that Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was quite young, and he didn’t know what to say about it. He further mentioned that it was amazing and he really enjoyed batting with him. Yashasvi stated, “So it’s always, I’m always happy seeing from the other end, the way he’s hitting the ball.”

Vaibhav Sooryavashi Playfully Accused Of Installing AI Chip In His Bat

However, Yashasvi Jaiswal’s older partner’s remark was not the only discussion that involved Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s name. Previously, Pakistani cricket expert Nauman Niaz playfully mentioned during his appearance on SmashHit, to get the 15-year-old’s bat checked, adding, “Like WADA conducts dope tests, send him to a lab. He probably used an AI chip in his bat.”  Nauman Niaz called Vaibhav unreal. He further said that when one is 18 their body builds, including muscles, biceps, and triceps. The expert pointed out that the young player is just “16” and that he was born when Virat Kohli was a world champion.
