“Is This What You Support?” Rupali Ganguly Indirectly Slams Alia Bhatt’s Leather Dress At Milan Fashion Week

Famous television actor Rupali Ganguly often voices her opinion for animal welfare and against those who harm them. And in recent events, she allegedly slammed Bollywood star Alia Bhatt for wearing a leather outfit to the Milan Fashion Week. She shared a clip of her questioning Bhat about her outfit choice and calling her out for seemingly wearing leather made from skinned baby calves.

Rupali Ganguly Slams Alia Bhatt

On Tuesday, April 28, the actor took to her Instagram stories and shared a video by Sai Lohith. In the video, he was seen questioning Alia Bhatt about what she supported. The clip showed her at the Milan Fashion Week, alleging that the outfit she wore was made from 3-month old baby calves and 4-month-old baby lambs. He further stated, “Your cat, Edward, how would you feel if someone murdered your son and used his skin to make bags and shoes?”

Lohith further questioned her ‘Coexist by Alia Bhatt’ initiative, through which she promotes harmony between humans and animals. Though Rupali did not comment anything on Alia, her sharing this on her social media seemed like a subtle criticism.  For the unversed, Ganguly’s love for animals has been seen by the fans in the past as well, and this post looked like a question for Alia.
