Babil Khan Returns To Instagram, Receives Support From Ananya Panday And More Amid Video Controversy

After deactivating his Instagram account due to his viral video, Babil Khan is back.

Bollywood actor Babil Khan has been under major public scrutiny since a viral video of him allegedly bashing his peers went viral. Since then, he had deactivated his Instagram account, and looks like he has recovered from the incident as he’s back on. The actor shared his official statement saying that his video was highly misinterpreted and even tagged Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Arijit Singh, and more to share his responsibility tto pay respect to the ones he truly admired.

Babil Khan Gets Back On Instagram

Reacting to this, Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi wrote, “Perhaps you began looking for it in our personal life because of a small transgression on our behalf. We’re still making an effort on our end, and we hope you’ll give it some thought before making any decisions. Goodbye.” He also called out Reddit, gossip threads, and media portals for spreading hate. Raghav Juyal on the other hand, shared Babil’s team’s statement and wrote, “Babil is my family and I am always with him no matter what.”

Ananya Panday also re-shared Khan’s clarification story and wrote, “Only love and good energy for you Babil, always in your corner.” Sanam Teri Kasam actor Harshvardhan Rane also commented on the controversy after the Logout actor’s meltdown on social media. He encouraged him to focus on his craft and take forward the legacy of his father Irrfan Khan. Rane advised Khan to avoid ‘parties.’ He wrote, “I am also not from film family, and I have learnt that people don’t treat you badly if you don’t allow them too.” He further advised him to stay away from alcohol.

Babil Khan’s team claimed in an official statement that he had recently gained a great deal of appreciation for his work and was free to have bad days like everyone else. They gave the actor’s well-wisher assurances regarding Khan’s protection and safety, even stating that he will soon recover. According to the actor’s management, his film was misconstrued and taken out of context. He was merely acknowledging his contemporaries, who made significant contributions to Indian cinema.
