BTS Jimin Faces Heat For Lip Syncing During Arirang World Tour Rehearsals. Fans Defend Him!

After releasing their fifth album, BTS kicked off their highly anticipated Arirang World Tour and created massive excitement among fans worldwide. Many clips and photos from the concerts quickly went viral online. However, a rehearsal video of Jimin soon caused a big stir. The clip sparked controversy and left netizens divided. Read on to know all about it.

Soon after the tour began, a short rehearsal video of Jimin surfaced on the internet. In the clip, fans heard a loud backtrack playing. Even when Jimin’s microphone was not close to his mouth, his voice remained audible. Many people accused him of lip-syncing instead of singing live. The video created a heated debate online.

Korean netizens also criticised the use of strong audio tracks. Some felt it was unfair because fans pay a lot of money to attend soundchecks and expect to hear real live singing. The backlash grew quickly, with people questioning how much of the performance was actually live. For a group known for their powerful vocals, this small clip created a lot of disappointment and intense arguments online.

On the other hand, many fans, aka Armys rushed to defend Jimin. They explained that rehearsals often use backing tracks to check sound levels and stage balance. ARMYs pointed out that it was just a practice session, not the actual concert, and that Jimin has always delivered strong live performances in the past. They called the criticism unfair and reminded everyone not to judge too quickly from a short clip.
