Lassi is a classic yoghurt-based drink that comes from India, especially the Punjab region. It is prepared by mixing thick yoghurt with water, a bit of sugar or salt, and sometimes fruits or spices. The result is a creamy, frothy, and chilled beverage that feels perfect on a hot day. People often drink it to cool down after spicy meals or simply as a refreshing treat during summer.
To go with her visit, IU also shared one of her favourite late-night snacks, soft and crispy silken tofu cheese pancakes. The host prepared a simple side dish of fresh cucumber and a lightly salted pollack roe salad to match the pancakes perfectly. During the episode, IU admitted that she is not very confident in the kitchen. Still, it was nice to watch her show interest in trying new foods and learning a little about cooking.
