During the chat, Meryl Streep shocked everyone after saying that she was never interested in fashion! She stated, “I was interested in costume, and I took my degree in college in costume design. So, I looked at how we dress as a manifestation of character, and so many things were eloquent about what we put on in the morning, and fashion has made characters more vivid and told us more about them.” This shocked everyone since the actor’s fashion is truly iconic!

During the same interaction, Karan Johar accidentally dropped his phone, so Streep bent down to help him pick it. After that, she said that they both had the same phone, to which Johar cheekily replied, “I’ll never change it now.” Thus made eveyrone laugh and this moment instantly went viral. From crisp dialogues and sumptuous couture to spectacular runway-inspired outfits, the film reimagined how fashion could influence storytelling. Miranda Priestly’s outfit, in particular, is still widely referenced and loved in pop culture, influencing trends and inspiring designers to this day.
