Twitter User Poses Raging Questions For Men Who Shame Womankind Over False Rape Allegations.
The recent gang-rape Ghaziabad gang rape case, which reminded the country about the horrors of the Nirbhaya rape case turned out to be a fabricated story by the victim. This was what the UP police reported after their investigation. Now, whenever a false rape accusation case by a woman comes to light, most of the men on social media come out to blame and shame women in general for this. In fact, they even start questioning rape victims and present men to be targets of such false cases many times. I recently came across a Twitter thread that has the perfect answer for such people who use false rape accusation cases as a reason to target and humiliate every other rape victim.
The Twitter thread was put out by a user who goes by the name T on the social media handle. The Twitter user first compares men talking casually about false rape accusations to a common cold. The user raised two very powerful questions to such men. First, how many of these men know at least one woman personally who has claimed a false rape allegation. The user stressed the word “personally” because of course, if men are so quick to make judgments just on one case that makes headlines, they clearly should know other women too who have put out such similar cases. The second question the Twitter user posed was that if men knew about such incidents, how can they be certain that it was a false case?
The Twitter thread further mentions things that are, in reality, common in the world are sexual assault and rape crimes. The user firmly states that at least a woman will definitely know one sexual assault or rape victim personally if she is not the one to experience it herself.
The way men speak about false rape accusations, you’d think it’s as common as a cold. How many of you PERSONALLY actually know someone who was falsely accused of rape or sexual assault, and how do you know for sure the allegation is false?

Men often have counter-arguments about how they too become victims of sexual assault and rape, the user had an answer for them also. The Twitter user asked men to tweet about their ordeal and also stated that nobody says that such horrible experiences cannot be faced by men. But the fact that they use this to counter the women’s experiences is unacceptable.
Moving like every time they step out of their house they could be accused of rape. You want to know what IS more likely and common tho? Rape and sexual assault. And I’ll bet every woman DOES know someone personally who is a victim, if not one themselves. I certainly do.

Lots of men saying ‘men can be victims of rape and SA too!’ and to that I say 1) I didn’t say they couldn’t and 2) Make your own bloody tweet then. You only ever remember that as a ‘comeback’ for when women are speaking on their own experiences. Back yourselves then.

The user also pointed out that the culprits in men’s sexual assault cases are also men, which is the hard-fact truth that nobody talks about.
If only you went up for male victims of assault the way you go up for those who are accused. Or as you conveniently always assume, ‘falsely accused’. Most perpetrators of sexual violence even against men are ALSO men, by the way.

The user has rightly called out men who all of a sudden turn a blind eye to the sufferings of rape victims. They make insensitive comments and humiliate their ordeal on social media after a false rape case comes to light. There are questions raised by the user that every man who thinks this way should give deep thought to. The rising rate of crimes against women is the reality that men cannot choose to ignore or argue using those few false rape accusations.
