If you are a superhero fan like me, then you should have noticed that women are ruling Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and I am totally loving it. And I am very excited to see what happens next in the amazing world of Marvel. Well, speaking of MCU, the trailer of the highly-anticipating series Secret Invasion starring Samuel L. Jackson aka Nick Fury finally dropped and it features the first look at Emilia Clarke in her new role and let me tell you, she is looking so fierce. The mother of dragons is playing with guns here!

In the year 2021, it was confirmed that actress Emilia Clarke will be joining the cast of Marvel’s show which will feature Samuel L. Jackson in the lead role. On September 11, Marvel dropped the first trailer of its upcoming series titled Secret Invasion during Marvel Studios’ presentation at Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, California and it features the first look at Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman’s characters from the show. The trailer, which is giving serious spy-thriller vibes, begins with Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) bringing Nick Fury back to Earth as the shape-shifting Skrulls are causing issues after invading the planet.
Speaking of Emilia, her look from the series is fire, she is donning an all-black look while holding a gun in her hand. For the unversed, the Game of Thrones actress will be making her MCU debut in the upcoming Disney+ series. Don Cheadle, Martin Freeman, and Ben Mendelsohn will also be playing pivotal roles in this series.

Not much has been revealed in the trailer about Emilia Clarke’s character in Secret Invasion, but reportedly she is a Skrull known as G’iah from the comics who is hiding her true identity.

Meanwhile, the makers have not revealed the release date of Secret Invasion yet, but it seems like it will premiere in 2023. And we are pretty excited to see Emilia Clarke showing off her fighting skills in this series!
