Review: I Used A Summer Skin Protector And An Ampoule For My Uneven Skin Tone And It Transformed My Skin
We, beauty girls, love our skin and we’re all about taking loads of care and pampering our skin the best we can. But not all of us are blessed with good skin. Some of us just have to deal with the pigmentation problems including me. And trust me when I say this, pigmentation is the absolute worst and there’s very little that one can do about it. For a large part of my life, I’ve been extremely conscious about my skin tone and pigmentation and I’ve always had uneven skin tone because of which I often felt helpless and it’s not like I could do much about it. So, I usually chose to cover it up with a good full coverage foundation. But recently, I came across some products from Lisen that not only had good reviews but also claimed to help reduce pigmentation.
Since genetics have a role to play in our skin tone and pigmentation, there’s very little we can do to reduce it but using the right product and following a strict skincare routine is just what we need to do. But no matter what I did, nothing helped. So, I thought why not give these products a chance too! So, I religiously applied the sunscreen and the ampoule from LISEN. I applied the sunscreen 20 minutes before I stepped out of the house and reapplied it as and when needed throughout the day. The best thing about this sunscreen is that it does not leave a white cast and feels extremely light on your skin while protecting it from the harmful rays of the sun. Moreover, it is not thick or sticky or greasy. Most sunscreens tend to make my skin sweaty especially when I wear makeup on top of it but not this sunscreen. The LISEN Supercharge ++ Ampoule is nothing short of a magic potion. I used it twice a day, once in the morning before applying the sunscreen and once at night before hitting the bed. It is one of the most lightweight serums that I have ever used and works wonders on your skin tone and texture. It not only improved my skin texture but also gave me glowing skin and visibly reduced pigmentation and improved my skin tone. TBH, I didn’t even know that was possible. This serum quickly absorbs into your skin and makes your skin feel super fresh. The only thing to remember is to start with very little quantity once a day and gradually increase it for the best results. I’ll be honest, I can now confidently step out without a foundation and without feeling conscious of my uneven skin tone. I still have a long way to go but these two products have visibly reduced pigmentation and made my skin feel fresh and supple almost immediately. More importantly, it has also worked its magic on my under eye area and improved my dark circles. I don’t have panda eyes now (except for the days I don’t sleep well).
