Mukesh Khanna Calls Besharam Rang ‘Vulgar’. Toh Mat Dekho!

If you know anything about Mukesh Khanna, then you should know that he is known for his orthodox and controversial opinions. And he recently shared his views on the song ‘Besharam Rang’ from the film Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna said that the track featuring Deepika and SRK is vulgar and urged CBFC to take strict measures against it.
On Monday, Mukesh Khanna criticised the track ‘Besharam Rang’ featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in a Youtube video. He said that asked the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to take strict measures against Pathaan and the song as it has attacked religious sentiments with the use of a saffron bikini in the music video.
In the video, Mukesh Khanna also slammed Hindi film producers. He said that they use the Hindu religion as a “soft target” and said that the Censor Board must take note of it.

Furthermore, Mukesh Khanna said the CBFC must chop the saffron bikini that Deepika Padukone is wearing in the song. He said that it will send a larger message to all the filmmakers and eventually no producer will do such things in future. He also mentioned that if people working in the CBFC don’t have knowledge of the Hindu religion, then they don’t have the right to be a part of the organization.
Well, if Mukesh Khanna thinks ‘Besharam Rang’ is vulgar or offensive, then he shouldn’t listen to the song or watch the music video and we are pretty sure he does not need any superpowers for it.
Meanwhile, Pathaan directed by Siddharth Anand is going to release in cinemas on January 25, 2023.
