TMKOC Star Jennifer Mistry Reveals She Won Sexual Harassment Case Against Asit Modi: “Still Not Received My Dues”

A few months back in 2023, the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah star Jennifer Mistry had filed a sexual harassment case against the show’s maker Asit Modi, and had also allegations of her payments being due. The actress reacted to the verdict on the case which was passed on February 15, 2023. She stated that Asit Modi has been asked to pay her 30 lakh compensation for late payments, and more 5 lakhs for the sexual harassment allegations which were acknowledged by the court.

The legal battle between TMKOC actor Jennifer Mistry and show’s creator Asit Modi has turned ugly. The actress recently spoke about the verdict on the sexual harassment case and that it was passed in her favour. She stated that the court has asked Asit Modi to pay a compensation of 5 lakhs over the payments that are still due. However, Jennifer has revealed that the payments have still not been made to her. Talking about the case, Jennifer expressed that she was happy about the court acknowledging the sexual harassment case and the allegations, however, the actress is upset that the Executive producer Jatin Bajaj and project head Sohail Ramani have not received any punishment in this case, as per the interview to E-Times.

She also stated that the court’s decision finally proved that she was not trying to see cheap publicity but the actress also feels that she has not got her due justice. Jennifer also revealed that she was not allowed to talk about the verdict when it was given out.
Jennifer Mistry worked in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for almost 10 years before leaving the show in 2023.
