Rashami Desai Gives A Piece Of Her Mind To Trolls Body Shaming Her, Says “I Can’t Always Look Like A 21-Year-Old”

It was recently actress Arti Singh’s sangeet ceremony where actress Rashami Desai was brutally trolled for her look. From her outfit choices to her weight and style of walk, everything was questioned by the trolls. And well, not just celebrities, but these things can get to people and be very harsh to read. Speaking about the same, the actress finally came out and clapped back at all the trolls who seemed to be jobless.

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, the actress mentioned how living with the beauty standards that the industry lays down for celebrities can often be a daunting task. She mentioned how the pressure to meet certain beauty standards is difficult and in between all of this people don’t realise what you are going through. She further clarified that she has not been keeping well these days.

Giving a firm response to people’s judgements she said she doesn’t need validation from anyone anymore and trolling is a part of being a public figure. She went on to mention how you need dedication to survive in this industry. Talking about the unjustified beauty standards created for women in the entertainment world, she said–”I can’t look 21-22 forever. My journey is beautiful, but change is hard for some people to accept.”

Well, we totally agree with her. And it is not just Rashami who spoke about these weird standards, even actor Rajkummar Rao was recently trolled for a weird change in his face and accused of getting surgeries. Responding to this, Rao clarified that he did not go under any knife and finds this pressure of looking good extremely weird.
