Railways Introduces Foldable Baby Berths In Trains For Women Passengers Travelling With Infants
You know, I’m not a big fan of travelling because I don’t like public transport and they are so uncomfortable, to be honest. However, there’s a piece of good news for all the mothers who travel in trains with their babies. Recently, Indian Railways launched foldable baby berths for women passengers travelling with their infants. Hmm, sounds quite interesting, not gonna lie!
I believe that travelling with kids is a difficult task and I can’t even imagine the kind of stress women passengers go through while travelling with their infants. But looks like Indian Railways is here to solve their problems and we totally support it. On the special occasion of Mother’s Day, Northern Railways introduced foldable baby berths for infants in selected trains that will ensure a comfortable journey for all the mothers, it is quite unique and cute.

The baby berths were introduced by the Lucknow and Delhi divisions of the Northern Railways, as per reports. An engineer came up with the idea of these births during a meeting, it’s nice to know that someone cares about women.
The births are foldable and it comes with stoppers and straps to protect the babies.

As for now, they are installed in trains on an experimental basis. According to the reports, if the idea of baby births works and passengers give positive feedback, Indian Railways will install it in all trains.
Now, let’s see if this extraordinary idea works or not but it’s a nice initiative, to be honest.
