What Is Lawn Bowls?

Lawn Bowls, also known as bowls or lawn bowling, is an outdoor sport in which the objective is to roll biased balls so that they stop close to a smaller ball called a ‘jack’ or ‘kitty’. Lawn Bowls is played on a bowling green, which may be flat, convex, or uneven and the surface is either natural grass or artificial turf.

The balls used in the Lawn Bowls generally weigh around 1.5 kg and is called a ‘biased ball’.
