First Lady Of Ukraine Olena Zelenska Writes An Emotional Open Letter To Global Media, Addresses Mass Murder Of Citizens
For more than a couple of weeks, we are witnessing the violence caused by the war between Russia and War. Even though we are not part of the war but seeing innocent people losing their lives, children crying while leaving their country, families bidding goodbye to each other because who knows if they will meet again or not, and visuals of violence is just heart-wrenching. Amid the war, the first lady of Ukraine – Olena Zelenska penned an emotional letter to the global media addressing the mass murder of the citizens and how children are becoming the victims.

Recently, Olena Zelenska who is a screenwriter and wife of Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky penned down a lengthy emotional letter to the global media addressing the Russia-Ukraine war. In the open letter titled “I Testify…,” she talked about how Russia is murdering the innocent people of Ukraine including children. She said that before the war began, the nation was peaceful and full of life but what happened a few weeks ago is unbelievable. She also mentioned the names of children who became the victim of this brutal and tragic war, “When Russia says that it is ‘not waging war against civilians,’ I call out the names of these murdered children first,” she said. However, she mentioned that Ukrainians will never give up. Sharing the letter on her social media account, she wrote, “Recently, an overwhelming number of media outlets from around the world have reached out with requests for interviews. This letter serves as my answer to these requests and is my testimony from Ukraine.”

Olena Zelenska also urged the Western countries to institute a “no-fly zone” over the war-torn nation. She also warned that the other European countries could be the next target of Vladimir Putin. Zelenska appealed to the global media to keep showing the truth to the world as it is crucial.
