Sobhita Dhulipala

You may call her an art because every picture of Sobhita Dhulipala looked like one. In the list of Bollywood actresses who look similarly dressed according to trends, Sobhita took a different route and outperformed. The star made some daring choices with baseball cap veils, blazer sarees, fluffy heels, and paid homage to the good old fashion of the 70s, and 80s. Her personal style was perfectly moulded by stylist Kshitij Kankaria this year, and her Instagram grid is proof of great results.

Bhumi Pednekar

Another surprising transformation of the year was delivered by actress Bhumi Pednekar. The star collaborated with multihyphenate Rhea Kapoor, for special occasions like a starry Diwali party and award shows. Bhumi trusted Kapoor and tried her hands on everything from feather gloves, to bohemian lehengas, and disco-glam. Changing her aesthetic for her Instagram grid as well, the star shined in blurry pictures and unfiltered BTS videos.

Neetu Kapoor

Keeping her stack of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla designs aside for a while, actress Neetu Kapoor experimented with respect to her sartorial appetite. This year, Kapoor stepped out to promote her first film in a long time–Jugjugg Jeeyo and judged a dance reality show as well. For all her appearances, she made sure to experiment with interesting saree designs, delightful colours, and pantsuits. With due credit given to stylist–Mohit Rai, Neetu Kapoor dared to explore new designs, and definitely impressed the internet.

Ananya Panday

In the second half of 2022, actress Ananya Panday’s style collaborations with stylist Meagan Concessio stole our hearts. For promotions of her film–Liger, and her special trip to New York for the Swarovski gala, Panday dared to try denim-on-denim, sassy catsuits, and jewellery-loaded looks which she was never seen before in. This time around, Panday seemed to have almost found her personal style, which helped her strike a balance between her love for sneakers and party dresses.

Deepika Padukone

While we won’t call Deepika’s 2022 style a transformation, because it has always been a delight for our eyes. But what makes Padukone enter the list, is her collaborations with some of the biggest fashion houses, and important red-carpet events, which added more feathers to her hat. For every gala night by Cartier, Louis Vuitton, and even at the Cannes Film Festival, Deepika brought her bright treasure of designer sarees, concept dresses, and monumental gowns to mark these special moments this year.
