Angry SEVENTEEN Fans Send Protest Trucks To HYBE For THIS Reason!

K-pop fans are always vocal about how their favourite idols are treated, especially when they feel something is wrong. However, some SEVENTEEN fans have sparked a debate after protest trucks appeared outside HYBE’s headquarters in Seoul. The fans reportedly believe that the group’s backup dancers are taking attention away from the members. Read on to know all about the incident and why it has upset people.

SEVENTEEN Fans Send Protest Trucks To HYBE

According to reports, protest trucks were spotted outside HYBE’s headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on Thursday. They were reportedly sent by some SEVENTEEN fans who were unhappy with the group’s backup dancers.

Pictures and videos of the trucks soon began circulating on social media. The messages displayed on them called on the agency to remove backup dancers from SEVENTEEN’s performances. Some fans also raised concerns about the group’s choreography and styling and asked HYBE to make changes.

However, the protest has raised questions about how far fans should go to express their disappointment. While it is normal for fans to have opinions about performances, targeting people who are simply doing their jobs is not the answer.

Why Are Fans Being Criticised For The Protest?

The incident has sparked criticism because some fans appear to have taken their complaints too far. SEVENTEEN have spent years building their careers through their music, talent and hard work.

Backup dancers are an important part of many performances. Their job is to support the artists on stage and make the overall performance more engaging. Their presence does not take away from the members’ talent or hard work.

Fans can definitely ask for changes to choreography, styling or stage arrangements. However, demanding that backup dancers be removed simply because they feel the dancers are getting too much attention seems unfair.
