Twitter User Compares Bollywood And Tollywood Star Kids. We Find Her Tweet Rather Illogical, TBH!
Scrolling through Twitter can be rather entertaining but there’s one little thing that I’ve noticed in the last few years of actively scrolling through the microblogging platform. I often come across #BoycottBollywood which trends every other day. Not that anyone is ever going to boycott the entertainment industry but it does trend every now and then for various reasons. One of them being the extreme hatred for nepotism and star kids. Online trolls spend a lot of their time hating on star kids and shaming them for simply existing and being born in a celeb family. Well, I’m not a fan of nepotism but it’s not like the star kids chose to be born in a celeb family for the attention. Having said that, allow me to introduce you to the ongoing trend under this #BoycottBollywood trend.
It seems like people across the country have been spending their time comparing B-town star kids to the star kids of the South Indian actors. And let me tell you, it’s rather harsh and savage and uncalled for. Recently, Indian author Bhaavna Arora took to Twitter to shame Bollywood star kids while comparing them to the Tollywood star kids with a collage of pictures. In the collage, several B-town star kids can be seen partying together including Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan among others along with pictures of Tollywood star kids like Mahesh Babu’s daughter Sitara doing her Kuchipudi recital and R Madhavan’s son Vedaant sitting in what seems to be a puja with his father. In her tweet, the author pointed out the difference between the star kids and their lives.
Take a look at this tweet.

TBH, it’s shameful that these youngsters are being shamed for simply existing and living life on their own terms. And it looks like many others felt the same way about the author’s tweet and went on to call her out for the comparison.

Well, shaming the author isn’t how we’d like to see people deal with this uncalled for comment.

Calling out her judgemental behaviour seems like the right way to go.
Really?? Judging them by their dress and different occasions??

Point toh solid hai!
So u never party or go out to dinner with friends?
Always sit at home and only go out to go to temples and no where else
It's ok if they are having a party
If someone prays to god doesn't mean that person has no right to do anything else

Judgement band karo behen.
Don't see anything wrong with either of them. Please stop judging everyone that they should live by your parameters, everyone is allowed to live their lives. This is just absurd how we try to act holier than thou.

We like how this user just asked her to mind her business
Let them live their life….it is their personal issues. First self imbibe such cultures in our own houses. There is no need of invading their lives. It is their business.Let us mind our own business and not judge others

They don’t need to abide by your rules!

For the unversed, the author had tried to shame the Bollywood star kids for partying while comparing them to the kids of South Indian actors like R Madhavan’s son Vedaant who is a swimming champion and has won several competitions and with Mahesh Babu’s daughter Sitara (a 9-year-old, just BTW) who recently performed her first Kuchipudi recital. But the fact remains that the author failed to do her research and rushed to shame the star kids without looking at some basic logic. Let me point out that Aryan Khan has a black belt in Taekwondo. And also the fact that it’s rather normal for people in their 20s to party and go clubbing but the last time I checked, 9-year-olds weren’t allowed to enter a club.
