Bollywood actor Preity Zinta recently turned heads as she stepped out in Mumbai wearing a black T-shirt with the words, “Team Tukaram Mundhe.” Though she kept her appearance casual, this small quote was enough to catch the attention of the internet. For her recent Mumbai outing, actor Preity Zinta donned a black T-shirt with blue jeans and white shoes. She completed her look with a watch and blow-dried hair. Her makeup was also minimal, with eyeliner, rosy cheeks, and a subtle pink lip colour. The lines stating “Team Tukaram Mundhe” were enough to make heads turn on the streets of Maharashtra. The internet was pretty impressed with the actor’s T-shirt and left some hilarious comments. These words refer to the Maharashtra FDA Commissioner, who has been making headlines due to his recent inspections and enforcement actions against restaurants in Mumbai. Her T-shirt was a reference to his increasing popularity in cities.

This is not the first crossover between a Bollywood personality and Tukaram Mundhe’s FDA actions. Previously, Twinkle Khanna also referred to his recent food-safety drive in her Mrs Funnybones column and talked about this in a humorous way. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan also jokingly warned her friend’s cafe in Mumbai about maintaining proper standards, as Tukaram Mundhe might be approaching. And now Zinta’s T-shirt has also been added to the hilarious list of references in Mumbai. This sighting of her also comes amid the promotion of her upcoming film called Vibe.
