‘The Male Feminist’ Ep 9: Divyanka Tripathi Asks Why Only Men Are Allowed To Be Angry, And Women Are Supposed To Be Docile?

When I was growing up, I used to see men in my family getting angry for no reason at all and the women had to deal with their tantrums without asking complaining. And I used to think that such problematic behaviour of men around me was perfectly normal but I was wrong. Well, speaking of men and their problematic behaviour, actress Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya recently asked why only men are allowed to be angry and women are supposed to be docile in the latest episode of Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist. She’s asking the right questions!

In a conversation with Siddhaarth Aalambayan aka The Male Feminist, TV actress Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya talked about the difference between the things that society expects from women and men and how it needs to be changed. She said, “Society expects that men can show anger and women should be nice, sweet, and docile but this thought process needs to be changed. At times, women go through hormonal imbalance, so they should understand that it is okay if a woman is raising her voice.” She believes that we need to normalise women getting angry and we are here for it.
