‘The Male Feminist’: Divyanka Tripathi Questions Why Couples Aren’t Considered A Family Unless They Have Kids!

How hard it is for society or even family to understand that having a child comes with big responsibilities. The constant pressure created on couples to have children really becomes unbearable after a certain point. However, it was a refreshing change to hear something different on this topic from the famous television actress Divyanka Tripathi. In the new episode of Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist, Divyanka graced the show with her sweet personality and spoke her heart out on various topics. One among those was on the societal pressure for having kids, often imposed by families on couples. However, Divyanka and her husband, Vivek Dahiya do not have to face this problem from either family. But she also pointed out the fake news that she comes across on social media platforms related to her pregnancy that deeply upsets her.

In episode 9 of The Male Feminist, Divyanka Tripathi in conversation with Siddhaarth Aalambayan shared her experience on the pressures put by parents and in-laws for having kids. Well, the actress revealed that both families are quite chill about this. Divyanka highlighted that they understand how big a responsibility this is. Well, the best part was Divyanka’s sister’s reaction to all this. Divyanka said that her sister has given her the liberty to first take her three children and practice parenting on them if she ever has the urge to have children.

However, Divyanka Tripathi has often encountered people who cannot refrain from asking whether she has kids or not, because very rightly pointed out by the actress, the concept of a happy family in our country is, “ Hum do, humaare do.” Although, Divyanka says that maybe for some couples this just might mean, that they adopt a dog, and that’s a happy family for them.
