Nora Fatehi Files Defamation Suit Against Jacqueline Fernandez For “Tarnishing” Her Image In The Rs 200 Crore Money Laundering Case

Jacqueline Fernandez has been in a legal soup after being involved with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The actress has been named as accused by the Enforcement Directorate in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case along with the conman. And it looks like the legal troubles are nowhere near an end for the actress. In a recent update, Nora Fatehi has reportedly filed a defamation suit against Jacqueline Fernandez for making defamatory claims against her due to “malicious reasons”.
As per media reports, Nora Fatehi has filed a defamation suit against Jacqueline Fernandez for making defamatory comments against her as well as against 15 media organisations for carrying the news. She has accused the media and Jacqueline to be working together to conspire against her. Further, Nora has accused Jacqueline of conspiring against her in an attempt to cause a social, financial as well as personal downfall of the actress. Nora went on to claim that Jacqueline is “threatened” by her success and made defamatory remarks against her as she’s unable to compete therefore, she attempted to tarnish Nora’s reputation which would eventually lead to her losing work and open up new opportunities for Jacqueline.

For the unversed, Jacqueline Fernandez is an accused in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case along with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar whereas Nora Fatehi has been named as a witness as well as a person of interest. Both the actresses received expensive gifts from the conman and were repeatedly questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the case. Media reports have claimed that Nora received an expensive car from Sukesh as a gift but she was also conned by him and later cut ties with him. On the other hand, Jacqueline continues receiving gifts from the conman. Reports also claim that the actress dreamt of marrying Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
