Relatable movies are the best, hai na? I love it when I watch a movie and see things that are relatable yet different and currently I have a movie on my radar that will give me both reliability as well as show me the things that I have no idea about. Directed by Judd Apatow, comedy-drama film The Bubble has a Covid-19 pandemic theme. We all know how hard the pandemic hit the entertainment industry but ever since the lockdown has been lifted, movies, series and daily soaps are being shot with certain Covid-19 precautions in place. The Bubble gives us an insight into what happens behind the scenes of a movie with a touch of humour. Starring Karen Gillan, Iris Apatow, Fred Armisen, Maria Bakalova, David Duchovny, Keegan-Michael Key, Leslie Mann, Kate McKinnon, Pedro Pascal, Peter Serafinowicz and Vir Das, this meta comedy-drama is scheduled to release on Netflix on April 1, 2022. The Bubble follows the story of a group of actors who travel to a film set in England to shoot the sixth instalment of a blockbuster film with a dinosaur theme, titled ‘Cliff Beasts 6’ for Netflix amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The actors get stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel as they do their best to complete the film. The principal photography of the film began in February 2021 and concluded in April 2021. The film was announced by Judd Apatow in November 2020. Written by Judd Apatow and Pam Brady, The Bubble is inspired by the production of the 2022 film Jurassic World Dominion which was shot during the pandemic with all actors living in a hotel during the shoot of the film.
