Shruti Seth Talks About Doing A Kissing Scene With Mugdha Godse For ‘Bloody Brothers’. Can We Please Stop Sensationalising A Kiss?
The OTT platforms have given a lot of opportunities to underrated actors and to those who wanted to make a comeback. And with the variety of content on the OTT platforms, this has become possible as well. Actress Shruti Seth, known for her role in the television drama Shararat, had been missing from the OTT platform since her last stint in Mentalhood alongside Karisma Kapoor in 2020 and now, the actress is all set to make a comeback with the web series Bloody Brothers. The actress will be sharing the screen with Tina Desai, Jaideep Ahlawat, Zeeshan Ayyub, Jitendra Joshi, Maya Alagh, and Satish Kaushik. Produced by Applause Entertainment, this dark comedy series is a remake of the British TV Series Guilt. In the series, Shruti will be seen locking lips with Mugdha Godse. And now the actress has opened up about shooting the scene.
Speaking to Times Of India, Shruti Seth shared that she wasn’t hesitant about doing the scene but instead she found it ‘funny’ as both of them had never done a scene like that in the past. She went on to add that the director put both of them at ease while adding that ‘performance trumps discomfort’ which is why both of them made it look natural. Shruti Seth went on to share that when it comes to the audience, they will just have to wait and see their verdict and acceptance of the scene.

Okay, so here’s the deal. This isn’t the first time an actor is kissing their co-star on screen and why is it that the media thinks it’s okay to ask such a question and make the actor uncomfortable? This isn’t the first time an actor has been asked a question like this and we’re sure this won’t be the last but when will this really end? Shruti Seth was a good sport and chose to answer the question but why can’t we focus more on an actor’s acting skill instead of focusing on their kissing scene(s)?
