And on the shubh afsar of Women’s Day, the streaming platform has unveiled some tempting and much-needed, women-led narratives in the making. Adding some sass to its streeming slate and making it more fun, and inclusive, Netflix’s fresh line-up of stories talk about how ‘Her Kahaani Is Zaroori,’ and we too agree. Introducing the leads of its upcoming shows and films, Netflix’s slate is interesting and aims to build a diverse lineup of female characters. Take a look at these titles:
Masaba Masaba 2
An image that speaks a thousand words, Masaba is all set to hit the screen in a bang on avatar. From a hot mess to a queen, Masaba and Netflix have finally dropped the first look of Masaba Masaba 2‘s next instalment and by the look of it, I assure you I am screaming on top of my voice. Essayed by Masaba herself, Season 2 will unleash “twice the laughter, twice the tears and twice the fun,” as Masaba Gupta says herself.

Kathal
Starring Sanya Malhotra, and produced by Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment and Balaji Telefilms Ltd, the dramedy ventures into a bizarre case of a missing Kathal (jackfruit). Sanya who has donned a police ki topi for the film decides to shoulder the case to prove herself. Now we gotta watch the film to know who is Kathal ka kaatil or if the Kathal is still alive.
