In her recent interview with Hello! Magazine, Malaika has said that it is very important for women to ‘have a life after a breakup or a divorce.’ She stressed the fact that there is a ‘misogynistic’ approach when it comes to female relationships. Malaika further said, “It’s often considered a sacrilege for a woman to date a younger man.”

The 48-year-old was married to Arbaaz Khan but they split in 2016. She made her relationship official with Arjun Kapoor in 2019 and they often share adorable pictures with each other on their respective social media. Previously, Arjun Kapoor told Hindustan Times that he and Malaika have stood by each other throughout this relationship, ‘facing speculation, facing brickbats, facing chatter, unnecessary at times.’ He also said that it was ‘hell’ for them. Arjun further added that Malaika had to face so much since they made their relationship official but he admires her for giving him and their relationship so much dignity.
