Vidya Balan And Shefali Shah Come Together For Drama Thriller ‘Jalsa’ On Prime Video. Eager To See What They’ve Been Cooking

The true mark of a thriller is in the story and the performance of the actors that when combined with the music becomes a masterpiece. If you ask me, there are very few drama thriller movies that I’ve watched in a while – the most recent being Yami Gautam starrer A Thursday. Having watched it, my search for another thriller was ongoing when I came across Amazon Prime Video’s announcement of their new collaboration with T-series and Abundantia Entertainment. Yep, the three of them are coming together for another movie, Jalsa which is going to be all degrees of thriller and drama. Jalsa is one of the most-awaited drama thrillers starring two of the strongest female actors in Bollywood – Shefali Shah and Vidya Balan. Just from the cast, you know that this thriller is going to be one of its kind.

On February 28th, 2022, Amazon Prime Video took to their social media to announce the world premiere of the much-awaited drama thriller, Jalsa. The movie is directed by Suresh Triveni and will have Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah in pivotal, lead roles.

Jalsa is a drama thriller that tells a tale of a conflict that is shown through the life of a top-line journalist and her cook. The movie has an engaging, nerve-wracking storyline that is sure to keep you at the edge of your seat.

When I say I’m highly anticipating the movie, trust me I’m not lying. After all, who doesn’t love a good weekend binge – especially if it’s a drama thriller with two of the finest actors? Not me for sure!
