Grimes Opens Up About Secret Second Child With Elon Musk, Reveals They Have Broken Up ‘Again’
Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, we’ve seen a lot of celeb couples welcoming their babies. It’s raining babies and now yet another celeb couple has opened up about having a baby. The head of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk and musician Grimes had a second child in December last year. The musician revealed that the couple had their second child, a girl, via surrogacy as she had complications during her first pregnancy and did not want it to happen again.
A reporter from Vanity Fair was interviewing Grimes at her home in Texas when he heard a baby crying. The musician reportedly tried to avoid talking about it but later revealed that she had a second child with Elon Musk. She went on to share that they have named their daughter Exa Dark Sideræl Musk. Grimes also revealed that her pet name is Y.

During her conversation with Vanity Fair, the artist shared that her relationship with Elon Musk is hard to understand. She went on to add that she would refer to him as her ‘boyfriend’ but they are ‘very fluid’. Pointing out that they live in separate houses, Grimes shared that they are ‘best friends’ and ‘see each other all the time’. She further added that they have their own thing going and she doesn’t expect people to understand it. The artist also revealed that they might have more kids together as they always wanted three or four children.
Soon after the Vanity Fair cover story was released on Thursday, the musician announced her split with Elon Musk. Clarifying her relationship status with the billionaire entrepreneur, Grimes shared that they have broken up ‘again’ since the article was written.

Grimes said that Elon is her ‘best friend’ and the love of her life. Grimes also stated that she will not be doing any more traditional press as she is a private person. FYI, Elon and Grimes had welcomed their first child, a boy in May 2020. They named him X Æ A-12.
