BLACKPINK 10th Anniversary Sparks Fan Disappointment Over Lack Of Celebrations!

BLACKPINK, made up of Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé, stands as one of the largest K-pop groups on the planet. The girl group is about to reach the ten-year mark since they first started out. However, apart from excitement, many fans, aka Blinks, have shown clear anger and disappointment because no big group announcement or details about the special celebration have come out. Read on to know more about the current situation and the feelings shared by fans around the world right now.

Fans Left Disappointed By Silence Ahead Of BLACKPINK’s 10th Anniversary

Some fans are placing their frustration on YG Entertainment for the silence. Others feel the members themselves could celebrate the moment with something simple, such as a live stream, a shared photo, or a short message. Many stress they are not demanding a full comeback. They only want a way to mark ten years together with the Blinks, who have stayed loyal through the years.

A number of fans pointed to recent releases that came out without proper choreography. They questioned whether putting out a song and music video alone truly counts as a comeback when no promotions or live stages took place. With time still left on the group contract, fans believe the least that could happen is a proper nod to the anniversary.

International fans shared the same disappointment and even wondered if Korean Blinks might send protest trucks to express their feelings. On top of that, others showed anger over the agency asking them to renew their Weverse memberships.

For anyone who may not know the recent timeline, BLACKPINK did make an official group return on February 27, 2026. They released their third mini-album called Deadline through YG Entertainment. That project became the quartet’s first full group music release in more than three years after the 2022 studio album Born Pink. Even with that earlier release, the approach towards the ten-year mark has left many feeling angry and disappointed.
