TUIDE was shown to the public not long ago and got a lot of attention at once. People had different thoughts about how the members looked from the very first day. The real problem started with a short teaser video that seemed to give a hint about their first song. In the video the members stood in a practice room doing their dance moves while a beat played in the background. Fans of NewJeans, aka Bunnies, knew that beat right away because it sounded almost exactly the same as the one used in Cool With You.

A side-by-side video comparing the two beats soon spread across social media and set off a strong back-and-forth. Some listeners felt the beat was just a regular UK garage-style track and nothing unusual. Others found it strange that the same company would hand such similar sounds to more than one of its groups. They said the choice made no sense and left fans confused.
At the same time, ILLIT also faced new claims of copying NewJeans. The girl group under BELIFT LAB put out the music video for their second Japanese single called I Got Your Back. Soon after the video appeared, some raised eyebrows at the filters and the way the scenes were edited and more. They said these parts looked very similar to the ones used in NewJeans’ Japanese debut song Supernatural.
