Manoj Bajpayee’s Sweet Gesture For A Pregnant Journalist Has Won Our Hearts!
I did intern as an entertainment journalist for a brief period of time a few years ago. During which, of course, I did get a chance to interview some celebrities and fortunately I have had a good experience of doing it. For me, an inexperienced intern, these days were the highlight of my internship; to have gotten a photo clicked with an actor or to have them simply have a short conversation with them. Stories of thoughtful gestures by celebrities are often heartwarming! One such story was shared by a journalist through her social media. On the occasion of Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee’s birthday on April 23, a journalist took to her Twitter to share a sweet gesture done by him for her.
Manoj Bajpayee’s Sweet Gesture Towards A Journalist
In her Twitter thread, journalist Rituparna Chatterjee shared the story of how Manoj Bajpayee helped her. She started by saying that this took place in 2013 she was eight months pregnant. The Family Man actor was promoting a film in Delhi at that time and he called journalists over to this suite to take his interview. She continued by writing that other journalists interviewed Manoj in the waiting area or the drawing-room.
But when it was her turn to interview him, Bajpayee asked her if they could shift the interview to the bedroom and asked her to sit on the bed. He also fluffed up two pillows and tucked them behind her back to give her support whereas he sat on the couch. The journalist also tweeted that ‘it’s things like this that separates him from the rest of the crowd.’ Check out the tweets below.

reporters sitting on the couch in the drawing room/ waiting area, as I waited my turn. When it was time for me to interview him, he said, "let's move it inside?" I was confused for a second. Then he led me to the bedroom, made me sit on the bed, asked me to put my feet up and

he fluffed up two pillows and tucked them behind my back. He himself sat a distance away on a couch. 8 months pregnant, I was on my feet for a long time that day and I have since then never forgotten that kind gesture. It's my favourite story to tell of the man. He didn't have

to do that, the star and extraordinary actor that he is, but he did and it's things like this that separates him from the rest of the crowd. Perhaps he himself has forgotten about this, but I haven't and I never will. Happy birthday Manoj.
