Have they lost their minds? The wrestlers’ fight against Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Singh Sharan has got the world’s attention. The International Wrestling Federation recently issues a letter in support of the wrestlers. However, in India, there are many people who are supporting the WFI chief in this matter. In fact, the Ayodha seers have announced a rally in support of the president with a demand to make changes in the POCSO act.
pic.twitter.com/3LcHiBIHU8

The Mahant of Ayodhya, Kamal Das in a recent media interaction alleged that WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was being falsely accused of using the POCSO (Protection Of Children From Sexual Offences) act. Therefore, the Ayodhya seers will take out a rally in his support and demand urgent amendments to the POCSO Act, he added. As per a report by Hindustan Times, the Mahant also stated that the POCSO act was majorly being misused by women to accuse the saints and politicians. The rally will be held on June 5 at the Ram Katha Park in Ayodhya, in which former judges are supposed to be a part too!
On the other hand, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has reacted to the wrestlers’ decision to immerse their medals in Haridwar’s Ganga river. Calling it a wrestlers’ stand, the WFI chief stated that the probe is undergoing and if the allegations have any weight, then the culprit will be arrested.

Currently, the wrestlers have kept the decision of throwing their medals on hold and have given the government, an ultimatum of five days. This was made possible after the intervention of farmer leader, Naresh Tikait.

It’s unbelievable that the seers have come to the point of demanding changes in the POCSO act, which was made in the interest of safeguarding young girls. For one man, demanding an entire act to be amended on the basis of no proof is so stupid.
