Taliban Bans Women From Restaurants With Garden. They Have Completely Lost Their Mind!

The pain, horrors, and sufferings felt by the women in Afghanistan after the Taliban took over are just beyond anyone’s imagination now. Every other day, the Taliban regime comes up with a new ban on women and it is not stopping. No matter how much backlash, criticism and warnings they have received from various organisations and countries, the Taliban continues to traumatise their women. And adding to this list, now the regime has banned women and families from visiting restaurants that have parks or lawns in them. The reasons stated for this ban are again senseless and pathetic!
On April 11, the Taliban made headlines for a new set of bans imposed by the regime on their women. Afghanistani women have already been banned from recreational spaces, gyms, educational institutions and so on. Now, the Taliban have particularly restricted their entry into restaurants that have parks on gardens in them. This new ban was announced in the Herat Province of Afghanistan.
As per the news, the officials justified the ban by stating that such places were parks under the garb of a restaurant, and many men and women sat there together. Some religious scholars had also put forth their complaints regarding the “Mixing” of genders in such restaurants, based on which the ban was introduced in the province. In fact, as per the reports on this, the Taliban has closed down such restaurants and warned people of the consequences if the rule was not followed by them. However, they have not included regular restaurants under this ban, but as per the news, now the parks are being monitored in which men and women go together.

Schools, gyms, education, recreational spaces, and now restaurants with “Gardens”, everything in Afghanistan is off-limits for the women. What will they do? With every other ban, the Taliban are reaching new heights of insanity!
