Sania Mirza’s Last Tennis Match Ended In A LIT Farewell Bash Ft. Farah Khan, Huma Qureshi, Diana Penty!

Sania Mirza will forever be remembered as one of the greatest tennis players of all time. She has won six Grand Slams in her glorious career, making her one of the sport’s star players in the country and the world. Sania Mirza said a tearful goodbye to the game after she played her last match in Hyderabad, the city where her career began. After her farewell match, she was felicitated by Telangana minister K T Rama Rao and V Srinivas Goud, the Telangana sports minister. Sania Mirza played exhibition games along with Rohan Bopanna, and the American tennis player, Bethanie Mettek Sands. Fans hooted and cheered for her when entered the arena. In her emotional farewell speech, the 36-year-old ace player said that it was her honour to have played for the country for 20 years. She also expressed her excitement about playing her last match in front of her fans!

A farewell bash was also organised for Sania Mirza in Hyderabad which was attended by several celebrities from the film industry as well. Farah Khan also shared pictures from the bash on her social media. Huma Qureshi and Diana Penty were also in attendance of the bash! Farah Khan Kunder also shared a casual picture with Sania as they ‘chilled’ with each other post the party. There were both holding hands and lying on the bed. In the caption of the post, Farah wrote that champions chill with their best friend in bed after retirement! Sania and Farah have been besties for a long time now, and they are often seen sharing appreciation posts about each other on their respective Instagram handles.
