And now, the interior designer has landed in a legal soup. An FIR has been filed against Gauri over the purchase of a property in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Gauri Khan, the well-known designer, who has some big names from the industry as clients such as Alia Bhatt, and Sidharth Malhotra, is facing legal trouble as she has been booked under Section 409 of the Indian Penal Code for alleged breach of trust. The news of Gauri Khan’s legal trouble has come as a shock to many, especially her fans and followers.

In the complaint filed, Jaswant Shah has alleged that Gauri Khan’s company charged him a hefty sum of Rs. 86 lakhs for a flat in Tulsiyani Golf View at Lucknow’s Sushant Golf City area. However, her company did not give him the possession of the property. This has raised concerns about the credibility of the company and its brand ambassador.

Furthermore, Jaswant Shah claimed that he was influenced by Gauri to buy the flat, but it was later given to someone else. The complaint has not only been filed against Gauri Khan but also against Anil Kumar Tulsiyani, the Chief Managing Director of Tulsiyani Construction and Development Limited, and the company’s director, Mahesh Tulsiyani. This suggests that the case is not limited to just Gauri Khan but also involves the entire management of the company.
