In the latest #AskSRK session on Twitter, a fan asked the actor what he gifted Gauri Khan on their first-ever Valentine’s day. Recalling the couple’s first Valentine’s day, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that it was 34 years ago in 1989 when he gifted his now wife a pair of pink plastic earrings.

Looking back at Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s romance makes us realise that she stood by the actor through thick and think as he found his footing in the Bollywood industry. More so since Gauri Khan came into SRK’s life much before his love for acting did. The actor met Gauri back in 1984 when he was hardly 18 years old and she was 14 years old. While love bloomed between the couple, it wasn’t easy considering their interfaith romance. Despite all the hurdles in their romance and issues in their relationship, the couple worked through everything to ensure love wins. SRK and Gauri tied the knot in 1991 after experiencing their fair share of ups and downs. And 30-plus years later, this adorable celebrity couple continues to set couple goals for us.
