Delhi Acid Attack: Accused Says He Planned The Crime After Watching A Movie

You know, a person who has done something bad, will do anything or say anything to justify his or her wrongdoings, it is human nature. And the same thing happened in the Delhi acid attack case. On December 14, two men threw acid at a 17-year-old girl when she was on her way to school. The incident took place near Dwarka’s Mohan Garden. The police had arrested three men including the main culprit. The accused, named Sachin Arora admitted that he planned the whole attack after getting inspired by a film scene. This is just horrible.

During interrogation, Sachin Arora, the main accused of the Delhi acid attack admitted that the attack was pre-planned. He told the police that the idea of the acid attack struck him while watching a movie scene. According to the reports, Arora planned the act after the 17-year-old girl ignored his texts and phone calls once their friendship had ended.

Furthermore, it was revealed that the accused planned the acid attack for a week and purchased the acid from an e-commerce site. He made sure that the delivery address was not his home and asked the delivery executive to drop the parcel near a shop which was far from his house. Arora thought that this would prevent any kind of suspicion.

Sachin Arora, along with his two friends carried out the attack. Arora borrowed a motorcycle from his relative and obscured the number plate with the help of a black plastic bag. He also claimed that he wasn’t present at the crime scene and told the investigator to check the CCTV footage from the Dwarka area. But in reality, he had told one of his friends to take his scooter and phone to another location in an attempt to misguide the police.

The hospital authorities said that the victim of the acid attack is in stable condition now. However, she has blurred vision in one eye and her left hand is also injured.
