Jaipur: Comedian And AAP Activist Khyali Booked For Rape Of A 25 YO Woman

This is pathetic!

There are so many people out there who use their power to exploit people and escape the clutches of law. Another such shocking incident about a well-known comedian surfaced on March 16, Thursday. Comedian Khyali has been accused in a rape case of a 25 year-old-woman from Jaipur after promising her to give a job. The incident is currently under investigation and more details are yet to come. But the case just highlights the pathetic scene in the country when a man uses his power to sexually assault a woman in need of a job.

The case was reported by the Jaipur police on Thursday, March 16, when the woman filed an FIR against comedian Khyali. The FIR was filed with the Mansarovar police and the distressing incident happened on Monday, March 12. As per the news, the comedian booked for the rape was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and had called the woman to his hotel room. The police informed that the comedian has called the woman to his hotel room with promises to give her a job and allegedly raped her. The woman and one of her friends came in contact with the comedian around a month ago, and they were promised a job by him, as per the news.

The sub-inspector of the Mansarovar police informed that the comedian who is also an activist of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) forced the woman into drinking alcohol, and when the friend accompanying her left the room, he raped her. The police have booked him with a rape case under IPC section 376. The investigation is ongoing and there are no reports of an arrest as of yet.
