Centre Informs High Court That Women Are Allowed Admission In Selected Branches Of Indian Navy Universities
Good step! There was a time when women were restricted to do field jobs in defence. But gradually, the change is happening. Women are now being welcomed in other branches of the defence too. Recently, a PIL was filed in the High Court claiming that Central Navy Universities are not admitting women and there is institutional discrimination by the government taking place in this regard.
